With an Open Directory master and one or several Open Directory replicas, what must be considered regarding proper functioning of replication, how can this be acheived?

Replication uses timestamps, so the clocks on the servers my be synchronized. This can be achieved with Network Time Protocol (NTP) services (the master providing the NTP service, the replicas configured via Date & Time panel of Sys Prefs to set their system clocks to the address of the server providing the NTP service)
